His Excellency President Mohamed Ould Cheikh El Ghazouani arrived early Friday morning in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, at the start of a working visit to participate in the ninth edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII9), taking place in Riyadh from October 27 to 30.
Upon his arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport, the President was received by His Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of the Makkah Region, Major General Suleiman bin Omar Al-Tuwairib, Director of Jeddah Police, Eng. Ali Al-Qarni, Deputy Mayor of Jeddah, Mr. Mokhtar Ould Dahi, Mauritania’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and Mr. Ahmed Abdullah bin Dhafer, Director of the Royal Protocol for the Makkah Region.
The President’s participation in this major global investment forum reflects Mauritania’s commitment to strengthening its presence on the international stage, expanding partnerships in investment, energy, and innovation, and exploring opportunities that can foster sustainable development and economic growth at both the national and regional levels.
